The Pontec PondoSolar 1600 is a powerful solar-powered fountain pump kit suitable for use in pots, bowls, ponds and decorative water features. Designed for strong performance without mains electricity, it operates entirely on energy generated from sunlight.
The kit includes a low-voltage 12–18V fountain pump capable of delivering flow rates of up to 1,600 litres per hour, along with 5 metres of connecting cable, extension tubes, and two interchangeable fountain heads. Power is supplied by two 10-watt solar panels, supplied with mounting spikes to allow optimal positioning in direct sunlight.
The solar panels power the pump directly, so they must be installed in a bright, sunny location for best performance. The pump features a ½" BSP male threaded outlet and is supplied with an adaptor suitable for 13mm flexible hose, allowing easy connection to a variety of water features. The PondoSolar 1600 is supplied with a 2-year guarantee for peace of mind.
