When exposed to strong sunlight, the integrated 7V solar panels mounted on the surface of the float power the pump directly, while any excess energy is stored in the built-in lithium battery. Stored power allows the fountain to continue operating when clouds pass over, and as night falls, it automatically powers the integrated LED lighting, which switches on at dusk to create an attractive evening display.
The solar panels sit flat on the float, so performance will be reduced during winter months. To protect the unit from frost and ice damage, it is recommended that the Pondosolar LED Island is removed, cleaned and stored in a dry place over winter.
Supplied complete with three fine spray fountain nozzles, the unit is covered by a 2-year guarantee.
